Circle Of Concern will officially break ground for its new center building – the major component in $1.1 million in improvements to its campus in Valley
Park – this Sunday afternoon, August 24, 2008. The event will begin at 2:00 p.m. After opening remarks the ground breaking will take place about 2:30 p.m.
The new center will be more than twice as big as Circle’s current building. The new facility will be LEED certified and will allow Circle to serve needy families in western St. Louis County for many decades.
Local dignitaries, the president of Circle and others will speak briefly before the ground breaking ceremony. Tours of the current center and recently-renovated warehouse will follow the ceremony. Light refreshments will be served.
Since 1967 Circle Of Concern has been helping families who live in the Parkway, Rockwood and Valley Park areas. For more info visit www.circleofconcern.org. |
