• Preliminary Services

  Killeen Studio Architects can provide advice on choosing a building site (or measuring existing building).

• Project Write-up

  After working with a client to understand the scope of the project, we will provide a written description of your needs, which is used as the basis for design.

• Schematic Design

  We will create sketches of various alternate designs that will satisfy your project goals. After receiving your comments, a single scheme is developed.

• Design Development

  Our staff will generate drawings, computer models, outline specifications, and estimates that further describe the size and character of the project.

• Document Creation

  We create working drawings and specifications to describe the work in detail. They are used for permitting, competitive bidding and construction.

• Permit Acquisition & Code Complience

  Killeen Studio Architects works with government agencies to acquire the necessary approvals, permits and legal clearance. We have a longstanding relationship with the Permit Division at St. Louis City Hall, as well as county and state government offices. Our staff is knowledgeable about Historical Tax Credits, zoning requirements, and the other legal intricacies that govern construction projects.

• Bidding

  Our staff can help locate qualified bidders who are interested in building your project.

• Contract Administration

  Killeen Architects will make site visits from time to time to assist the contractor with interpretation of the contract documents and to verify that the work conforms to the documents. The Architect may also certify payments earned by the contractor.
